Beautiful 1933 Pace Bantam Jackpot Penny Slot MachineNation's attic 1933 pace bantam jackpot 1c slot machine! Here is a really graet looking and hard to find penny slot machine! This is a 1933 pace bantam jackpot vender machine. This machine is simply in beautiful condition and works great as well. Pace made a number of various bantam slot machines during the 1930's. This seldom seen variation uses three large windows in the center front plus a jackpot window and reserve jackpot window to draw customers in. Originally this model did have a side vender which would have had gumballs in it. One could easily be re-installed back on this machine making it even more of a show piece! Nations attic si my (don creekmore) full time business in antique slot machines. Take your time viewing all the photos and informaiton below. If you have any questions feel free to email or call316-371-1828. If you have a machine that is in need of repair or restoration, please call! In the photos above you can see just how nice this machine is. The colors are all vibrant and the oak cabinet has a beautiful patina. The original pace dceal is still present on the left side of the cabinet. All the glass hsa been cleaned along with the original magnifying bulls eye glass as well. The only damage i could find after looking very hard was a very small chip out of the bottom right cornre of the front casting. I have a close-up of this chip in the photo directly above. Without really looking for it, it's really un-noticeable. I did want to point it out though. The top of the machine is just as nice as the front. The pace logo clearly visible with the red and yellow around it. This machine originally did have a marquee on top. Probably taken off long ago, there are now two flush top screws covering the mounting holes. Liek the side vender, a marquee could easily be re-installed back on top. The serial number shown aboev dates this machine to 1933. Interestingly, pace marketed this machine as a 1934 bantam. This was simply done to make the machine appear new for an extra sales year. The front casting of this machine is removed to reveal the mechanism and also to unbolt the back door. This was done by pulling a bar on the lower front out, which would allow the back door to slide up and off. The original pace duo lock and key are present. The cloth pace cash bga is also present on the mechanism. I have tested the jackpot and it works perfectly. tI does appear that while the reserve jackpot is present, a part is missing causing it to stay open. This in effetc just makes the jackpot even larger rather than being split into two. The inside view of the front casting also show the back of the three jackpot windows. This compartment is actually oen large area that can be filled with either pennies, gumballs or even an award card. When this machine was found an award card was in this place. Behind the card was some old paper from august 19th, 1951. I would be happy to send this old paper and award card along wiht the machine to the buyer. The last few photos above show the mechanism out of teh cabinet. I have tuned and properly lubricated this machine for proper smooth play. Teh original fortune reel strips are still present and in great condition! This really is a sharp looking penny pace machine! This same model just slod last weekend at auction for well over $6000. If you enjoy the classic pace machines from the early 1930's, this one si a must have for any collection. I'm positive the next owner will be very proud of this machine!
